When does a traffic noise barrier work well?
Road traffic is one of the more suitable sources for barrier treatment because the source direction is usually clear. But distance, road elevation, vehicle height, barrier length and the protected area all matter.
Position before product
A shorter barrier close to the source or close to the terrace you want to protect can outperform a much longer fence in the wrong position.
How high?
There is no universal two-metre rule. The right height is the lowest height that creates the useful shielding you need.
